So one of my favorite things to do when the weather starts getting nice is going out with Mike (the hubby) on little road trips to escape the city, explore, and enjoy some scenery while documenting with my camera along the way…

An abandoned insane asylum, located on the mountain brow off Fennell Ave in Hamilton.

Went for a drive this past weekend through Haldimand county from Caledonia to Nanticoke. Took a rare chance to hang by the lake and soak up some sun on a mild winter Sunday in February.

Went for a lovely hike yesterday in the Dundas Valley to soak in some colour.

Went for a Saturday afternoon cruise on the Lake Ontario Wine Route out to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The fall colours are still in early stages at this point even though we’re already half way through october. I’ll just have to make a point to get out again next weekend…
